My name is Shanjida Hoq.
I hold a Bachelor's of Psychology & Sociology,
Master's of Science in Education,
& Master's of Science in Mental Health.
The ultimate goal is to help families
find hope and resilience.
Rooted in a humanistic lens,
my therapeutic style blends;
Rogerian therapy,
Applied Behavior Analysis,
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy.

With over a decade of experience supporting autistic children, adolescents in crisis, adults with special needs,
and home care for the elderly;
I worked in a school, home, and hospital setting;
I bring both professional expertise
& lived experience into the session.
As a former school counselor,
my leadership has been described as
transformative, reflecting my belief in
growth, empowerment, and lasting change.

through mindfulness, meditation, movement,
art, music, voice, & dance.
